Getting started
What SupplyMirror is and your first steps
What is SupplyMirror?
SupplyMirror is software for online store owners. It watches the supplier product pages you choose and tells you when a supplier changes a price or runs out of stock.
When you connect your store, it can also propose — or, under rules you set, apply — the matching update to your own listing, and confirm it landed.
See how it worksCan I buy products on SupplyMirror?
No. SupplyMirror is not a marketplace and does not sell products. The headphones, serums and bags on the website are sample data that show how the software treats a supplier's catalog.
Your customers keep buying from your own store; SupplyMirror works behind the scenes for you, the store owner.
Who is SupplyMirror for?
For store owners and small teams who sell products sourced from suppliers — resellers, dropshipping stores and distributors — and who lose money or customers when a supplier changes a price or sells out without warning.
How do I get started?
- Create an account and confirm your email.
- Add the link of one supplier product you sell and check its first reading.
- Add the rest of your products, or import them in bulk.
Connect your store whenever you want SupplyMirror to compare against — or update — your own listings.
Create an accountDo I need to connect my store first?
No. Monitoring and alerts work on their own. Connect a store later, when you want changes compared with your own listings or applied to them.
Is SupplyMirror free right now?Policy
During the current beta, paid checkout is switched off. New workspaces start without a card and nothing is charged.
Paid plans begin only when checkout opens and you choose one yourself.
Are the examples on the website real results?Policy
No. The website's demonstrations use illustrative sample data to show how the software behaves. They are not customer results, and we don't publish testimonials, customer counts or figures we can't verify.
Is there a mobile app?
SupplyMirror runs in your browser on desktop and phone. There is no separate app to install, and we haven't announced one. Monitoring runs on our servers, so nothing needs to stay open on your device.
Which languages does SupplyMirror support?
The application is available in seven languages: English, Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Simplified Chinese. The website, these help answers and support chat are in English and Arabic.
What doesn't SupplyMirror do?
It doesn't find new suppliers for you, take payments from your customers, ship orders, or get around supplier logins and anti-bot protection. It works with the suppliers and stores you bring, and tells you plainly when a page can't be read.
Supplier sources
Which supplier pages work and how
Which supplier link should I add?
The page of one specific product — the page that shows its price and stock — not the supplier's homepage or a search page. One product link is one watched source.
To bring many products at once, paste a category or store link in Import instead.
Will it work with any supplier website?Available with limits
Most public product pages can be read, but not every site. It depends on how the page shows price and stock and on whether the site blocks automated visits.
Add one product first and check its first reading before adding the rest.
What if a supplier site needs a login or blocks checks?Available with limits
If a supplier needs you to sign in, you sign in yourself in SupplyMirror's secure supplier browser; the session is kept on our server so scheduled checks can continue.
SupplyMirror never bypasses logins, CAPTCHAs or anti-bot protection. A source that keeps blocking checks is shown as unhealthy instead of being guessed.
Can a product have a backup supplier?
Yes. A source group lists several suppliers for the same product. Only the active supplier drives changes to your store; the others are backups.
If the active source becomes unusable, SupplyMirror can switch to a backup under the group's conditions, and records and alerts you about the switch.
Can I watch products from many suppliers?
Yes. There's no limit on the number of supplier websites. Your plan limits the total number of watched products (sources): 100, 1,000 or 5,000.
Can SupplyMirror find suppliers for me?
No. You choose your suppliers; SupplyMirror watches them. It doesn't search the web for suppliers or recommend them.
What if a supplier puts a different product behind the same link?
SupplyMirror checks that each page still shows the same product. If it looks like a different product, it raises an identity risk instead of treating the new price as a change, and nothing is applied to your store from that reading.
A supplier moved a product. How do I update the link?
Pause or remove the old source, add the new product link, and check its first reading. If the product is mapped to your store, confirm the mapping still points at the right listing before re-enabling updates.
My supplier prices in another currency. What happens?
Supplier prices are recorded in the currency the page shows. When you price for your store in a different currency, you enter the exchange rate yourself. SupplyMirror never invents or silently fetches exchange rates.
Am I allowed to monitor a supplier's website?Policy
You're responsible for having the right to access the pages you add and to use their data, including under the supplier's own terms. SupplyMirror reads only the pages you add, no more often than your plan's interval.
Monitoring & alerts
Price and stock checks, alerts, history
What exactly does SupplyMirror check?
On each watched product page: the price and the stock or availability the supplier shows. Every successful check is saved as a reading with its time, so you can see what changed and when.
How often are products checked?
Your plan sets the shortest allowed interval: every 30 minutes on Essential, 10 on Growth and 5 on Intelligence.
It's the minimum gap between checks, not a promise that each check succeeds on the minute — a slow or blocking site can delay a reading.
How will I be alerted about changes?
In-app notifications are on by default. You can also send alerts by email, to Telegram through your own bot, or to a signed webhook for your own systems.
Choose the events you care about: price changes, stock changes, source problems, identity risks, supplier switches and store update results.
Will I know when a supplier runs out of stock?
Yes — when the supplier's page clearly shows the product as unavailable. SupplyMirror records it, alerts you, and, if the product is in your connected store, proposes marking it sold out there.
That proposal waits in Changes & decisions until an owner or admin applies it.
Does a failed check mean the product is out of stock?
No. A blocked page, timeout or error is recorded as a failed reading — never as zero stock or a new price — and your store is never changed because of one.
What does “stale” mean?
A source is stale when there hasn't been a trustworthy reading for longer than expected. The last known value stays visible with its age, but it isn't confirmation of today's price or stock.
Can I see the history of changes?
Yes. Changes & decisions lists supplier changes from the last 30 days, and every applied store update keeps a record of what changed and whether the store confirmed it.
Can I pause monitoring?
Yes, for one product or in bulk. Paused products aren't checked until you resume them. Bulk changes affecting more than 25 products ask you to confirm first.
Does monitoring run when my computer is off?
Yes. Checks run on SupplyMirror's servers, so nothing needs to stay open. If our service is interrupted, checks resume when it's back; readings missed during an outage are not filled in afterwards.
Why hasn't a price updated?
Check, in order: the time of the source's last reading, whether it shows an error or a block, whether the product is paused, and whether the supplier page really changed.
If it still looks wrong, send us the product link in chat.
Import & catalog
Bring supplier products into your store
Can I import supplier products into my store?Available with limits
Yes. Paste a supplier product, category or store link; SupplyMirror finds the products, you review them and set your pricing, then choose the destination store and categories.
Publishing new products works with Custom REST stores today. On Shopify and WooCommerce, SupplyMirror updates the price and stock of products you already sell.
Can I import a whole category?
Yes. Paste a category or store link and SupplyMirror discovers the products listed there. You select only what you want before anything is published. What can be discovered depends on how the supplier's site lists products.
What does an import bring across?
The title, images, price, stock and options (such as sizes and colours) that the supplier page exposes and SupplyMirror can read reliably. Missing details are shown for you to complete — they're never made up.
How is my selling price set when I import?
From the supplier price plus your margin, with an exchange rate you enter if the currencies differ. Supplier prices are never published as-is.
Does it handle sizes and colours?Available with limits
Yes. On Custom REST stores, new products are published with their sizes and colours. Each option is mapped to the matching supplier option, so a stock change touches only that size or colour.
Can the same product be imported twice?
No. SupplyMirror checks whether a product is already imported to the selected store and won't import it again.
Can I use the supplier's product images?Policy
Images are brought in when the supplier page provides them. Make sure you have the right to use them in your store — supplier terms differ.
Can I edit titles and descriptions?
Yes. Review and adjust product content before publishing. After publishing, automatic updates are limited to what your rules cover — such as price and stock — so your own wording isn't overwritten.
Does SupplyMirror do SEO research or write SEO content? Not available yet
Not yet. Advanced SEO Intelligence — keyword research and search-led product content — is planned for the Intelligence plan but isn't available today. Please don't choose a plan for it yet.
Does importing publish automatically?
No. You choose the products, the destination store and its categories, then start the import yourself. The result screen shows what was published and anything that needs your review.
Your stores
Shopify, WooCommerce, EasyOrders, Custom REST
Which store platforms can I connect?Available with limits
Shopify, WooCommerce, EasyOrders and Custom REST (your own store's API). Their abilities differ today:
- Custom REST — publish new products, update price and stock.
- Shopify, WooCommerce — update price and stock of existing products.
- EasyOrders — read products only.
What can SupplyMirror do on Shopify?Available with limits
It reads your products and updates price and stock on products you already sell. Publishing new products to Shopify isn't available yet.
What can SupplyMirror do on WooCommerce?Available with limits
It reads your products and updates price and stock on products you already sell. Publishing new products to WooCommerce isn't available yet. With order access, it can also read recent order lines to measure sales of your monitored products.
What can SupplyMirror do on EasyOrders?Available with limits
Today it reads your products, so you can compare them with supplier changes. Updating EasyOrders stores isn't available yet; apply changes there yourself.
What is a Custom REST store?
A store you run yourself that exposes an authenticated API with the read and write endpoints SupplyMirror needs. It's the most complete connection today: new products with sizes and colours, plus price and stock updates — each confirmed by reading it back.
How do I know an update really reached my store?
After every write, SupplyMirror reads the value back from your store. An update counts as done only when the store shows the new value; otherwise it's reported as failed or blocked — never assumed.
What if I change a price in my store myself?
Before writing, SupplyMirror rechecks the current value in your store. If it isn't what SupplyMirror expected, the automatic update stops for review instead of overwriting your change.
What is product mapping?
Linking one watched supplier product — or one option, like size M — to the exact product or variant in your store. Store updates only flow through confirmed mappings.
Can I connect several stores?
Yes, up to your plan's limit: 1 store on Essential, 3 on Growth and 10 on Intelligence.
My store connection failed. What should I check?
Check the store address, that the API key has read and write access to products and inventory, and that the key hasn't expired or been revoked. Then reconnect.
Never paste keys into chat — we can help without them.
Pricing & approvals
Rules, margins and what changes your store
Can I keep everything manual?
Yes. Monitoring and alerts are useful on their own. Nothing changes in your store unless you connect it and either apply a proposal yourself or enable rules that allow it.
How do I approve changes to my store?
Supplier changes that affect your store appear as proposals in Changes & decisions — for example, “the supplier sold out: mark it sold out in your store”. An owner or admin applies them. Nothing changes in your store until then.
What is a pricing rule?
It sets how your selling price follows supplier cost: your minimum margin, the largest price move allowed in one update, and the size of change that must wait for your approval.
Can SupplyMirror protect my profit margin?
Yes. A price that would fall below your minimum margin is blocked instead of written, and large jumps wait for approval. Each proposal shows why it was allowed or blocked.
Will SupplyMirror change my prices without my permission?
No. A store write needs a connected store with write access, a confirmed mapping, and an action you applied or a rule you enabled. Viewers and analysts can't apply store changes; owners and admins can.
Can I preview a store update before it happens?
Yes. Store sync can run a simulation that shows exactly what would change, without writing anything. A real update then rechecks that simulation and your store's current state before writing.
Can stock follow the supplier automatically?Available with limits
On stores that support updates, yes: sold-out and back-in-stock changes can be applied to the mapped product, either from a proposal you apply or under rules you enable. SupplyMirror only restores stock that it paused itself and recorded.
Can it mark just one size as sold out?Available with limits
Yes, on stores that support variant updates. A change applies to the mapped variant only; other sizes and colours are left untouched.
Is there a record of what SupplyMirror changed?
Yes. Every store update is recorded with the before and after values, what triggered it, and whether your store confirmed it when read back.
What happens when a store update fails?
It's recorded as failed or blocked with the reason, and you're alerted if you enabled store-update alerts. A failed update is never shown as applied, and SupplyMirror doesn't keep forcing it.

There's no published enterprise plan yet. If you need more capacity, tell us your catalog size, stores and check frequency in chat, and we'll tell you honestly what's possible today.
I see a charge from SupplyMirror. What should I do?Policy
During the beta nothing is charged, so treat any such charge with care. Contact us with the date, amount and the last four digits of the card — never the full card number.

Privacy policySecurity & privacy
Keys, data, cookies and deletion
How are my store API keys protected?
Store keys and other integration secrets are encrypted before they're stored and are never shown in full again. Only owners and admins can change store connections. Never paste keys into chat or email.
Do you store my password?
Only as a salted, one-way hash (scrypt), so nobody — including us — can read it. We will never ask for your password in chat or by email.
Can SupplyMirror see my customers' orders?Available with limits
Where a connection supports it (WooCommerce today), SupplyMirror reads recent order lines — products, quantities, prices and status — to measure sales of your monitored products. It doesn't keep your customers' names or addresses and never changes orders.
Where is my data stored?Policy
On a dedicated server operated for SupplyMirror, in a PostgreSQL database with daily backups. Hosting and other providers process data only as needed to run the service, as described in the privacy policy.
Privacy policyCan I get a copy of my data or correct it?
Yes. Ask us from your account email and say whether you want a copy, a correction or deletion. We confirm it's you before acting.
What happens to what I write in this chat?

Hours, chat, email and phone
When is human support available?Policy
Every day from 3 PM to 5 AM Cairo time — this chat shows the same hours in your local time. These are the hours we work on messages, not a promise that someone is online every minute; the chat says when the team is active.
Can I write outside support hours?
Yes. Your message is saved straight away and the team is notified. The reply appears in this chat, so you can close the page and come back later.
How quickly will you reply?Policy
We don't publish a guaranteed response time yet. Messages are answered in order during support hours. Including the details below helps us solve it in one reply.
What should I include in a support message?
The product or supplier link, your store platform, what you expected and what you saw, and roughly when. Never include passwords, API keys or full card numbers.
How do I continue a previous conversation?
In the same browser, your conversation reopens automatically — on both supplymirror.com and the app. On another device, start a new conversation with the same email and mention the earlier one.
Can I send screenshots? Not available yet
Not in chat yet. Describe what you see in words; if we need a screenshot, we'll tell you a safe way to share it.
Can I contact support by email?
Yes: support@supplymirror.com. This chat is the fastest tracked route, because the reply comes back here and stays with your conversation.
